Mission
To encourage and facilitate excellence in photography and business practices for our members of independent photographers so that our clients receive the highest quality products and services.
Principles
1. Share knowledge about all aspects of photography,
2. Share collective resources to allow each of us to achieve our individual goals and,
3. Share our time in support of each other's activities.
Current Effort
We are looking for two things.
3-4 photographers who have an occasional need for studio space to join the group
- We have a small store front studio in Elmhurst (about 400 square feet with plenty of lights, and simple backdrops) that works well for headshots, family portraits and meeting with clients. Currently, It is only used 2-5 days per month, and we are looking for individuals willing to contribute in exchange for access.
- There is additional space next door that could be leased. This would allow the total space to be increased to 1000 square feet and redesigned to suit our collective needs, if there is sufficient interest.
